Shelana & Mackenzie Macpherson - Napanee Ontario

Heading to this back yard wedding for the Shelana & Mackenzie wedding, I knew that it was going to be an extraordinarily special day. This gorgeous, incredibly in-love couple met through God and endured though a long distance relationship. They organized many visits back and forth to see each-other.

They planned a sweet, intimate wedding shared between themselves and family and friends. All gathering on a beautiful backyard estate. Walking in, I couldn’t help but notice the customized DIY wedding games right away, and more and more of those little details starting popping out. One of the most unique aspects of this wedding was the presence of song the Bride sang and the groom played piano for during their ceremony (it tugged at my heartstrings ).

I find that one of the best things about small weddings is that they lend themselves to especially tender moments. They also somehow feel a little more at ease, and that’s exactly what the vibe was on this beautiful day.
